Pending ID – Bourletiellidae

#1. Mid October 2010
“Members of the family Bourletiellidae are famous for their ‘romantic dances’. Couples dance first for a while before sperm is exchanged via a spermatophore (a spermdrop on a stalk) which is placed by the male in front of the female. The female is then guided by the male to take up the sperm.”
