Family Labiduridae
Labiduridae have the second tarsi segment cylindrical but the third segment arises subapically dorsally. Tasmanian genera, belonging to subfamily Labidurinae, have the elytra well formed and strongly carinate laterally. The antennae have the highest number of segments for Tasmanian earwigs being over twenty.
