Prostomus scutellaris

Found under bark of Eucalypts in dry sclerophyll.  The curved hook (uncus) at the end of the tibia gives it extra traction to climb trees.   Their large mandibles would do significant damage to vegetation.

This specimen may have been dead (or very slow due to the cold).  It was found pinned under bark on a Eucalypt.
