Genus Borboroides

Borboroides are small, Sphaeroceridae-like flies that differ from that family by lacking the typical compact and enlarged hind leg basitarsi.

Borboroides sp. – fits the atra-group of McAlpine (2007) by the combination of two subequal lateroclinate fronto orbitals, dorsocentrals 0+1, wing vein 5 (CuA1) curved out along discal cell, and wing anal cell well formed.
