Tapeigaster paramonovi is notable for the well-defined, wide, dorsal greyish medial stripe on the thorax, this stripe tapering to a point before the scutellum. Additionally no femora are noticeably swollen and the antennae are blackish. The fore tibiae are darkened in the apical half only, and the fore femora are adorned dorsally on the inner angle with a blackish stripe for most of the length.
