Poecilohetaerus nigrifrons

Poecilohetaerus nigrifrons – a Tasmanian endemic which differs from P. albolineatus by the nearly (sometimes entirely) blackish frons and face, fore tibiae entirely darkened, and the last three tarsal segments of fore legs entirely white. In P. albolineatus the frons is more evenly golden-brown on the disc, the legs lack distinctly darkened tibiae and only the last two tarsal segments of the fore legs are entirely white.
