Helina sp. #1

We place here Helina with the following characters: body with dense yellowish-grey pruinescence; antennae bicoloured with the first two segments tawny and the last fuscous; eyes without distinctive hairing; legs tawny with tarsi darker; antennal arista with short hairs (not plumose); 3 pairs of postsutural dorsocentral bristles; no well developed presutural acrostichal bristles; haltere knobs yellowish; and the wings with crossveins clouded. Very similar to Helina we have designated “sp. #3” but differing in the antennae colour and the number of postsutural dorsocentral bristle pairs.
