Geron (Plichtamyia) sp. #1
This (apparently) undescribed species is notable for the thickened first antennal segment, similar to that found in G. westralicus which is a Western Australian species. The recumbent golden-yellow ‘pile’ on the thorax and abdomen appears to be unusually thickened, or flattened. The erect pale hairing on the sides and on the front of the thorax are long and thick.
