Belonging to tribe Drapetini (eyes with ommatrichia and post humeri not developed), but lacking the characters of the two genera listed for Australia (Micrempis and Elaphropeza). The 2nd wing basal cell (bm) is distinctly longer than the 1st (br), ruling out Micrempis, and the antennae lacks the long conical 3rd joint with apical style of Elaphropeza, instead this joint more shortly oblong and with style arising dorsoapically from an extension there of this joint.
