Gynoplistia cf. bella – this species has black head and thorax, the legs variably bi-coloured orange and black, the abdomen reddish with 1st tergite and apical two to three segments black (excepting ovipositor structure in female; males with apex reddish or not), and wings strongly patterned with three equidistant bands that are narrowly connected medially and apex more or less clouded (apical cloud can be reduced). Male antenna formula 2+2+(11-12)+(3-5), female formula 2+2+(7-8)+(5-6). Theischinger (1993) noted great variation in leg colour pattern and wing pattern, often with local forms, and considered they may represent a complex.
