Gynoplistia leai

Gynoplistia leai is a Tasmanian endemic species. The females have antennae lacking any flabellate segments. Males have antennae formula 2+2+(16-17)+(2-3). The wings are extensively marked, the dark band across the discal cell leaves this cell contrasting hyaline in the middle, and in at least the female the legs are short and hairy. G. krangalang is another Tasmanian endemic species with antennae simple in females, but with wings less extensively marked.
