Gynoplistia sp. #2

Gynoplistia sp. #2 – this may represent a local variety of G. bella (?), differing from the typical form by wing pattern in the male with first two dark bands expanded and largely fused (narrowly separated posteriorly) and lacking distinct apical clouding, and in the female the abdominal segments 2 to 4 being only obscurely reddish in colour. Antennae formula appears to fall within G. bella for both sexes.
