Gall on Eucalyptus cf. ovata

The gall was collected .

First batch of crawlers emerged May 13, 2019
Tentative identification thanks to Penelope Mills (via Bowerbird)
Leaves from a number of Eucalypts in the area were provided, but unfortunately E.ovata was only included on about day 2 of their emergence.  Most seemed to die.

Assuming the female had died in the desiccated gall, the gall was opened up.
Unfortunately the female was still alive and had produced another crop of crawlers.  These were all returned to Eucalyptus ovata where they had been collected
