Genus Pseudobargylia

Pseudobargylia spp. – adults in this genus are apterous, that is without any wings developed. They resemble young stick insects, being long and with subparallel thin abdomen, but easily distinguishable from them by the raptorial fore legs.  The genus is comprised of 10 species in Australia.
