Family Berytidae (Stilt Bugs)

The Stilt Bugs occur worldwide. They are long and slim with swollen leg joints.  They feed on plant sap, particularly on plants that have sticky hairs.

There are three subfamilies in Australia.

Subfamily Berytinae

Chinoneides tasmaniensis

The only species within the genus.
