Genus Brachymeria

Brachymeria spp. – these chalcids have the abdomen non-petiolate, the antennae are inserted above the lower margin of the eyes, the ovipositor never distinctly exerted, the hind femora are ventrally lined with coarse teeth, and the hind tibiae are apically obliquely truncate.

This little wasp decided to play dead when it was disturbed on the leaf.  It gradually crept into a more upright position, and then fell off the leaf entirely.
